Review by hotel critic
During my stay at Mambembe Hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by the value it offers. The hostel not only provides budget-friendly accommodation but also delivers a touch of luxury through thoughtful amenities. The curtains on each bed offer a sense of privacy akin to a private room, while the comfortable mattresses and pillows ensure a good night's sleep.I appreciated the fast and reliable WiFi, which is a must for someone like me, always keen to share my travel adventures through photography. The shared kitchen is well-equipped, allowing guests to prepare their meals and save on dining expenses. The friendly staff, like Anna, went above and beyond to make me feel at home, adding a personal touch to the overall experience.Though the room was clean and provided essential amenities, I did notice the absence of air conditioning, which could be a drawback during hot Brazilian summers. The hostel's prime location near Lapa and the unique curtain feature make it a great value for budget-conscious travelers seeking a comfortable stay with a hint of luxury.
